Surfboard Materials |
|
S-Glass Cloth is
stronger and tougher than E-Glass Cloth and has 20% greater tensile strength. S-Glass
Cloth provides a premium multi-stage finish and has the highest impact strength
of all fibreglass materials. 'E' cloth is most commonly used, but 'S' cloth is a
1/3 stronger although it's more than twice as expensive. |
|
|
Offers exceptional
strength-to-weight ratio, reduces resin absorption for lighter weight & minimizes
water absorption, 100% Recyclable material: Safer for the manufacturers, the shapers
and the environment. |
|
 |
A less toxic option
to polyester resins, the epoxy we use is made to meet the demands of the industry
to maximize strength producing a light weight finish, as well as clarity with UV
resistance. Making for a very durable lightweight board with a softer environmental
footprint. |
|
|
We also build classic weight polyester
boards, using low emission polyester resins & Volan cloth. We have a four to
eight week waiting period, due to a low impact lifestyle and our dedication to quality
& uniqueness. |
